Race Info

Race Timing:  
Electronic Race Timing will be provided by Accustat Sports Timing; results will be posted on-line as well as announced at the end of the run.  The course is certified by the Road Running Technical Council of the USA Track & Field under Certification Code WA 08025 MW. 

Age Groups and Awards:
    Age groups for 1st, 2nd and 3rd are given in both the 10K and 5K are:  Under 21, 21 to 30, 31 to 40, 41 to 50, 51 and Up.  There is also a Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 

Two runners, one male and one female, who have preregistered to compete for the guaranteed Marine Corps Marathon entry will be chosen based on their run time.  The do not have to win their age group or race, just be the fastest among the runners who are competing for the MCM entry.

Base Access:
All participants without base decals are asked to come through the Saratoga Gate.  The gate will open at 0800 and all participants will be asked for an identification card.  Volunteers will be posted in order to direct pre-registered racers towards parking and the race site.  Racers who have not preregistered may have to park at the gate and take a bus to the race site. 

Participants with base decals may proceed through either the Charles Porter Gate or the Saratoga Gate.  Please visit the website below in order to see how to enter the base on race day.
